This is the best monitor I've ever owned

Simply put, this is a great monitor. The HDR 1000+ nits, VESA-certified presentation is drop-dead gorgeous. The Wide Color Gamut SDR looks better than most competing monitors can display HDR. Still using my former GPU with this monitor and the visuals in 3d games and web browsing are so good it's as if I've installed a new GPU. Very satisfied in every respect. Zero dead pixels. DP 1.4--I use this as a computer monitor, not a TV, btw. Dot Pitch is small enough that no individual pixels are discernible. Sitting back approximately three feet away from the center of the screen, I'm surprised and pleased by how natural it feels--and I sometimes wonder how I got along without it all these years....;) It's just a pleasure to use every day! Don't want to forget the remote control--it accesses all the monitor's options, making use of the monitor's joystick control unnecessary. Have owned for ~six weeks.

Nightmare

I’ve had this monitor for about 6 months and it’s been a nightmare. I constantly have to unplug and plug back in to get the sound to play, if I don’t there’s no sound or the sound is so distorted it’s unbearable. The screen falls asleep in the middle of a gaming session at times and will take a while (30min-1h) to detect my Xbox again. HDR gaming for console (Xbox series x)is extremely dark and cannot be used I’ve tried recalibration with no success so I just disable HDR on my console. When I’m not dealing with one of these issues the screen quality was solid did have quite a bit of blooming in dark scenes and did not blow me away by any means it was not what I expected from a unit in this price range , ambiglo looks nice, the speaker has no bass whatsoever, but this may be due to me having received a faulty unit. It may be better for pc users but if your a console gamer like myself I’d be cautious when purchasing this.

first of all dont be scared by people saying that its to dark in the HDR mode because you can adust how dark you want it if your using it on a PC/Desktop/Laptop
i enoy the remote makes life easier and the picture this thing gives off makes everything even not hi res photos and videos look good and gaming on this is insane
the lights on the bottom are cool and totally customize able and the monitor is a little bright so adust the settings to fix that other than that the only thing i dont like about this monitor is where the manual button controls are on the back right of the monitor and i wish it would tilt more but other than that this monitor is beast! the HDR is absolutely great and it has 3 differnt HDR modes!
Pros: great picture, looks fancy, customizable lighting on the buttom, remote coontrol, extremely customizable menu w/ lots of options, durable stand not to heavy, has a wide veiwing angle
Cons: button placement on back of the monitor, dose not tilt more than 15 degrees

Best 4K Gaming Monitor

Hi-end graphics for both Xbox One X and PC gaming. Retirement affords a lot of game time and this monitor makes planetary landing in Elite Dangerous seriously fun. The jump from 32" 4K and 34" curved screen is astounding - first few combat engagements in small fast ships made me dizzy. Performance excels, no tearing or distortions. The LowBlue mode lets me play 6-8 hours without eye strain. Contacted customer/technical support via email for help resolving screen going blank for 2-3 seconds during game play on rare occasion. Followed troubleshooting recommendations in their response. They issued an RMA, sent a new monitor at no cost or down time for me. Absolutely the best gaming monitor and customer service I've ever encountered -- have had a computer in my home since 1984, lost count of how many PC/laptops with monitors I've owned. Philips just moved to the top.

Beyond Supurb

This screen is absolutely beyond superb. It takes an expert to set up properly under Windows 10 due to Windows partially implemented support for HDR. I recommend enabling HDR content in Windows setting AND forcing HDR in your graphics card video control software and using HDR video in the monitor setup, this will give you the best experience.
Please search other Windows and Graphics Card software settings that may be helpful to you.
Its a VA panel so you will see slight color washout if you view it off angel, progressing after only about 25 degrees to a maxing at 45 degrees with no change from
45 to 178.
I do not see any text artifact or any other artifact mentioned in any review father than about 20cm, its sharp, crisp, fast, super bright, super high contrast (about 17K to 1) and OMG THE COLORS!
DO NOT BELIEVE reports that this monitor gives washed out colors, brightness gradient due to side lighting (its not side lit) or anything of the sort. These reports are due improper source setup. As far as I have seen this is the best picture there is short of a OLED screen and those are not made in this size as far as I know.
Ambiglow is surprisingly nice!

Good monitor but cannot utilize HDR for xbox one x
on September 6, 2018

Good monitor but XBOX one x in HDR is to dark (destiny), have to turn HDR off to play, so spending 1000 just for a 4k display is questionable. I thought this was geared toward console gaming... so far that is in question.
Pros: remote, osd, nice colors
Cons: no low framerate compensation, hdr to dark in some fps titles, free sync range not wide enough

No HDMI 2.1

Lots of awesome of features in this monitor, but it lacks HDMI 2.1, which means you can't do 4K @ 120Hz with the new Xbox Series X or PS5, or with the new graphics cards using HDMI. Hopefully a firmware update could make this possible.

Great Display within technoglogical Limits
on August 16, 2019

The Display for me offers a nice performance in daily use,
while Playing as well as while Browsing.
Afterall i just slightly disliked, the software setup as the remote control is just recognized facing the right upper side of the Display.
Because of the high Brightness the cooling body could cover more of the backside.
Apart of that now room for complains.
Pros: great image quality(contrastbrightness), comfortable feat takes up few space
Cons: high display temperatures on high brghtness levels, facing down ports a bit difficult to reach
