It's amazing, you can seer right in it so you get the full experience of browning your meat and the flavor of that. The digital display is easy to use, its big enough to use as a second oven, so on holidays you can cook things in it freeing up oven space, Oh and it works as a crockpot too.

The roaster part works well actually to well because when I put it at its lowest setting which is 300 it cooks faster than id like and the slow cooker cooks to slow even on high..I put a 3lb boneless pork roast in for 4 hrs on high and it wasn't done! So right now my cooker is in the pantry..I love cuisinart but not this one!!

My husband cannot stop raving about this amazing appliance. The retractable cord is “genius”. We’ve cooked ribs, brisket and chicken. Perfect size for family of five or larger. Our other crockpots just didn’t have enough size. His only call out to make this a 4.5 rating instead of 5 is that the metal broiler rack scratches the nonstick surface. Cuisinart should Really re-think the compatibility of the accessories.

This is a one pot workhorse. Prior to owning this product, most all slow cooker meals required some degree of sautéing such as onions, celery, carrots, etc. This product does the sautéing, slow cooking, and regular cooing (with temperature control) all in one product. I absolutely love it, the quality of the product and the ease of cleaning. It is a perfect cooking center for my needs.....
