The Cuisinart CookFresh™ Digital Glass Steamer is amazing. My old Oster steamer would leak water all over my counter. The Cuisinart CookFresh™ Digital Glass Steamer is sturdy, classy looking, has a separate water canister, and glass cookware. It steamed my rainbow carrots to my desired "crunch". We have steamed asparagus, broccoli, brussel sprouts, carrots, and peppers. Each vegetable was delicious and there was no water leakage on my counter.

I purchased this steamer to replace another brand's steamer that I've had for 20+ yrs. I have several Cuisinart appliances and thought this would be an upgrade. Unfortunately, the very first food I chose to steam was corn on the cob. I was surprised to see how few I could fit in the steamer. (4 total and the lid would not seat tightly as the cobs were too large). Hoping for better experiences with other foods! I like the enclosed cookbook. Looks like several recipes I want to try are included.

First reaction to Cuisinart CookFresh: heavy glass and expensive. But after using several alternate top-rated plastic tower steamers, I decided to try CookFresh. Now the only one I use. Convenient 1 liter water reservoir. Fast, robust steam (30-seconds) arrives top down to cook food quickly...without filling kitchen with steam. Bright non-flimsy timer with many settings and categories. Rings when finished and shuts off a few minutes later. Has pause and reheat functions. Reheat makes refrigerated meals quickly hot without drying out or overheating common with microwaves. Now rarely use MW. Makes perfect poached, soft, or hard-boiled eggs. A keeper!

I like the tray, pot and lid are either glass or stainless steel. Better and safer choice for food. Steam also comes out very quickly , saving a lot of cooking time. Leftovers can be saved directly in the glass pot and goes into the fridge. Super efficient and convenient.
