Redesign it, completely

Before I bought this item, I had experience with steaming food where the steam rose from water from the bottom up, surrounding the food with heated moisture. I did not realize that this process produced better results than the Cuisinart Steamer because it did not damage the food by blowing steam from above (that's not right). The control panel needs attention, too. It should be operative from left to right, not all over the place.

I like the tray, pot and lid are either glass or stainless steel. Better and safer choice for food. Steam also comes out very quickly , saving a lot of cooking time. Leftovers can be saved directly in the glass pot and goes into the fridge. Super efficient and convenient.
