it fits!

this gelskin fits just right on the leappad2 and gives us some peace of mind when it gets dropped. i also can fit an emf shield under it to help protect my kid from the electricity...an extra plus! one thing i wonder is if long term this thing will get stretched out from having to stretch it on and off the leappad when changing batteries. so far so good! but it's pretty new.
Pros: Good for on-the-go play

It's a nifty thing as far as the look/feel but it isn't really what I would describe as "protective." Not sure I'd buy it again.

Bought the green one for my son when he got his Leappad2 several months ago and my daughter loved it so much that we bought her, her own Leappad 2 so they wouldn't fight over the one. I thought the gel skin worked really well on our 1st one, fits nice & snug, and is a nice no-slip rubber so I got the purple (my daughter's favorite color, but you can also find a neon pink) and it's definitely a great addition to the Leappad 2. Just as specifics this is a nice partially see through purple w/ glitter.
Pros: Educational, Fun for kids, Grows with child, Good for on-the-go play

This Gel skin is easy to put on and very durable. My 3yr old daughter dropped her, leapPad2 down a flite of stairs on the hard tile floor, and there was no damage to the gell skin or leapPad2.
Pros: Fun for kids

Leap pad2 Case ... So So

This case is great so when it falls or drops, she won't break her leap pad, but it is very hard to get on and off to change the batteries. If only it were a little easier to use HMMMM?

Bought this for my 3yr old's leap pad 2. He LOVES green & it matches everything perfectly! Even though i figured the leap pad was designed to take a few jostles from a child, this gives me an extra sense of security that it will last even longer. I also purchased the zippered carrying case & it fits perfectly inside that, skin & all.
I would recommend this to a friend!
