Decent Fridge with a big problem

We purchased this 30" French Door Whirlpool (w/water dispenser) in early 2018. Pros: Door storage is ample; Adjustable shelving allows for taller items; Freezer has ample size; Size appropriate for 3 persons. Negs: Whirlpool warranty; Product problems that are chronic and that they are aware of, but will not recall/correct.
Details: Known Whirlpool problem that the water supply to the ice maker will cause a leak with water accumulating below the freezer drawer. Ice buildup then causes drawer to lift damaging the fridge door(s) hinge eventually breaking the plastic mounts. Whirlpool may correct the water leak problem, but will not replace the door hinge/mount as the only fix is a door replacement. New door price ranges between $500-700. 14 months old at the time.

Complete and total rubbish...avoid!!

Bought this a year and a half ago. Within a week it was leaking. Had it replaced. Leaked again. Was fixed again. A year and a half later it is leaking again, a lot! I tried to do the right thing by supporting North America. Never again.

Satisfied with the product. Except one foot balance thread of the fridge installed having issues when tried to move have to re-adjust by the plumber to connect in the water. Overall good product
