A true upgrade from our last microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an LG microwave that was only 4 years old and had failed due to a latch issue. We really had no idea what we were missing out on until we installed this one. Love how easy it is to clean the inside too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Bosch Microwave. We have been very happy with this excellent product and enjoy the
improvements upgraded from the microwave we purchased several years ago - it still works, too. We have two recommendations for improvement.
(1) On the black and black stainless steel versions, a back-light behind the control panel would be most helpful. Even though the new model has brighter lettering, it is still difficult to activate the various touch keys without our overhead kitchen lights. Sometimes, all we use is undercounter lights and they do not illuminate the microwave control panel enough to see and read the touch keys.
(2) When cooking is complete, the microwave beeps. This needs to be louder. Perhaps a 3-option sound selection of soft, medium, loud. We recomend this as many apartments, condos, and newer homes have open kitchens which compete with the noises from TVs and video games.

Good exhaust, good waves, good machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OTR microwaves have a tough job, but this one does it well. On the microwave side, it's quiet, it's got intuitive controls, adequate power, good power consistency, and a lovely quilted metal interior.
The exhaust fan works very well; intakes are on the sides instead of the more common center design, and do a great job with steam pickup.
It can also bake as a normal electric oven, apparently, though I haven't tried it. Handy, if you don't have room or general need for a toaster oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!
