Love it, but confused with venting.

Powerful, love the convection feature, and looks great in our remodeled kitchen with other Black steel appliances. I guess this is a question as opposed to a complaint. But even with a bump out kit installed this thing vents straight up onto my cabinets. So....I have to open them up to not get moist air on them. Why straight up? And is there a deflector available.

Love this microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave replaced a Samsung model that had been replaced under warranty 3 times within 17 months. The third replacement quit heating 2 months out of warranty. We've had great luck with our Bosch dishwasher, so decided to try one of their 800 series microwaves. We are very pleased with our purchase. Sensor reheat works better than it ever did in the Samsung and heats food much more quickly, a pleasant surprise since the high end Samsung supposedly had the same power output. Our Bosch dishwasher is now into its 5th year and going strong; so, we're hopeful that this microwave will prove to be another winner.

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch 800 over-the-range microwave is the first microwave we've ever owned. Love the many features and flexibility it offers. We're underwhelmed by the lights that shine on the range - surprisingly dim - and we wish the exhaust fan was a little stronger. Apart from those two 'flaws' we think this is a great appliance.

Black Stainless is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BSS is easy to clean. So far it appears to reheat and cook according to directions. The sensor reheat appears to heat rather hot The sensor cook seems to work well. I have noticed some stem on the window when cooking fresh vegetables. Overalll we love the look and convenience.
