I bought this watch as my first step into the fitness tracking phenomenon that's going on these days, and to say I'm disappointed is a bit of an understatement. Underarmour as always did a great job with the shipping and notifications, and this review is in no way reflectant upon them.
To answer the main question which everyone seems to have on the item itself, this watch does NOT come with a heart rate monitor (separate, add-on device which appears to strap around the chest). I have a Galaxy S4 and the Echo app to set the watch up is clunky to say the least, and doesn't do any actual tracking itself. The watch did not come with a user manual, just a QR code and URL to their online tutorial page, and even that doesn't show how to use all the advertised features. There is no actual manual for this device on Magellan's website. This might work a little different for iPhone users, but those of us with Androids--don't waste you time.
