Very nice size

I have a few different uses for my inReach Mini. What I like best is it truly gives me peace of mind when I am out of cell range. It's compact size and ease of use make it the ideal must-have travel tool.

Brand new...screen dark spot

Bought brand new, activated, screen has dark spot. Working to get it replaced. Too pricey a little item to have a dark spot on the screen.

Wonderful product

I bought it a few days ago and took it with me hiking. Since most of my hiking (I'm 67) is alone, it provides me with a high level of security, if I get lost or hurt.

Difficult setup

So far, very difficult setup process. I tried to activate over the weekend ... unable to activate until Monday. A lot of time on the phone and messing with it. After it was activated, it took several hours for the test message to be successfully sent. Unit was outside with clear skies. Perhaps delay was related to ongoing activation issues.
