Downdraft Disappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This downdraft has not been able to descend since day 1. I have had 2 service people here and as of today the downdraft has been pulled out and taken into the appliance store's repair shop to be fixed. This is a brand new downdraft. I am furious that my investment in new Bosch equipment has been a disaster. I would like to replace my whole purchase but the appliance store said it's too late once the items are installed. I just spent 4,000 on 3 Bosch items and 2 out of the 3 are flawed. I think you should have someone from your company should contact me to discuss how to rectify this situation. A brand new downdraft doesn't function!

Firstly, I never go out of my way to write a review, but I had to for the downdraft. It.is.INCREDIBLE!!! We have it in our island and not only does it continue to give that clean line look, it also protects from the person sitting up at the counter while I'm cooking! I will absolutely be purchasing again for our next house!!!

Effective venting but not perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The down draft is good for stiuations where you cannot install an overhead vent, but it is noisy (as are all vents) and takes up a lot of space under the counter. It vents pretty well, but is not that easy to clean, mostly because you have to reach across the cooktop to clean it. These issues are not specific to this particular down draft, but probably apply to all downdrafts, regardless of the make.

Bosch Downdraft Will Blow Your Mind!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely worth barking about. Bosch downdraft works perfectly and is powerful. It does not collect dirt and is a great addition to our Bosch Induction Cooktop.
I would recommend this to a friend!
