Great lightweight headset

I have only had this headset for a little while. While it only has one earpiece it does make up for it in audio clarity, The mic itself feels flimsy compared to other headsets but picks up my voice nicely when I am gaming online. In terms of comfort this headset is "ok" but it's really based on preference at the end of the day. (I like to have both my ears covered). The overall construction of the headset is sound I can't see it breaking anytime soon which is a good thing, that's what you want in a headset "reliability" you want them to last a long time. And that's exactly what you will get with this particular model. While it doesn't boast a large reputation as some of the other headsets out there. I feel that this headset would be a good entry level headset into the world of gaming. Especially for those that prefer FPS.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The RIG 100HX is an open ear headset for Xbox One consoles.
The RIG 100HX produces great sound quality for gaming and chat, its crisp and clear. The headset is adjustable, so it can change the location of the earcup, and can be worn on either side of the head as it has a rotating boom mic. It is easy to use, just plug in and play (some adjustments with the Xbox may be required to suit personal taste). Even though it is designed for Xbox it is compatible with a PC, Phone and PS4. It is comfortable to wear and is reasonably priced.
Some issues I had with the RIG 100HX is that the headset frame feels a little flimsy and could possibly not be as durable as some other headsets.
With the Rig 100HX only being an open ear headset, I found it less effective when playing games that needed sound location to help play, with the sound only coming in one ear I struggled to isolate just which side other players were which put me at a disadvantage, but that is just personal preference.
If you want a reasonably priced headset that has good sound then this is great, if you’re looking for one that might give you a tactical advantage in some games, then maybe not the one for you.

Great Audio immersion l, great for communicating.

Never have i gamed with a single-sided headset.
I received this product last week, and I’m impressed with the sound quality and voice clarity from the RIG 100HX.
This style of headset would prove useful in a gaming environment where you still might want to talk with friends or family, or to be mindful of your vocal volume in an Internet cafe.

Great entry level chat focused headset

The RIG 100HX is a surprisingly good little headset. It's well designed, comfortable, and functions perfectly well. As expected from a single ear headset, the 100HX is a chat focused headset, so I would understandably not recommend this to someone who wants a fully immersive experience, I would however recommend it to a casual couch gamer, who prefers using an external sound output for the game audio, but still wants to chat with friends. I was surprised by the lack of audio feedback as well, on the other end of the headset you really only hear the players voice, and not the games audio from the external source, which is an amazing feature. I would absolutely recommend this headset to those who just want to chat, and listen to game audio externally, it's a solid unit at a budget price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light weight and fully functional!

This is a great headset. It is NOT usb. It's light weight and open framework lend towards a great sound experience while letting you be aware of your surroundings. If your wife wants to talk to you she can because you can hear her AND whatever your listening to. The frame is light and flexible and so is the mic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have been using this rig for a little over a week now and I have got to say I like it. It is light weight and easy to use. You almost don't even know its on your head. I have been a little spoiled from a dual ear system but it is nice to be able to get great sound and be able to hear your surroundings too. The only drawback I could find was that with some really loud time periods with multiple sounds coming through like an intense fire fight I did get a little distortion. But I would certainly recommend this 100%

Great for Speaker/Home Theater Setups!

This Headset is extremely light and comfortable! You can adjust the size to Small, Medium, and Large. The mic can rotate 180 degrees so you can wear it on your left or right ear. The design of the earcup is completely open and allows all sound through it, which is great when you want to use a speaker setup.
The Microphone only points towards your mouth, so it won’t pick up every little sound from your speakers.
You can also setup game and voice to go through the headset if you would like.
This Headset is great and I recommend it to those wanting to use external speakers, or want to be able to hear everything around them!
