A good headset for gaming beginners

This headset has some great positives: it's light, with good head and ear padding and so is very comfortable for gaming. The easy flex mic also makes chat very user friendly and the sound is crisp.
However, with a speaker only over one ear, you lose the benefits of surround sound situational gaming that a dual speaker headset offers which can be the difference between life or death in Call of Duty. I also received feedback from my friends that they could hear a loud humming coming from my headset whilst it was plugged in and charging.
As per the title... This is not a bad headset for someone just starting out on their gaming journey but for the seasoned serious gamer, I would always recommend a dual speaker headset.

Not really the best for people with big ears. as well the band does dig in to the skin after 30 mins of wear.

Can’t get audio

Light and comfortable headset

I received this headset a few ago, and I was surprised how light the headset is. It is packaged well, and is easy to assemble just by clicking the ear piece into the frame. The headset is very comfortable once you have it at the correct size
However this headset is not perfect, it has a humming noise when it is plugged into your controller at the same time as power, which is not audible to the wearer, but is audible to people in party or game chat.

Great Casual headset

I bought this headset a week ago and after using it for a little I can say the RIG 100 is a good well rounded headset if you play video games casually I loved the open ear up I never had a problem with having to take them off for being to hot but if you want a better gaming experience and want to feel like your in the game I would recommend the RIG 400,500,600 but if you just need to chat to friends I would buy the RIG 100

In need for some sound to hear ambient sound

Headset is ultralight weight. Apart from the mute and volume controls on the cable, raising the volume and adjusting chat mixer can be adjusted through the Xbox guide settings audio to get the most sound out of the headset. Quality of the game sound is really good not great, since you don't get to experience things happening on either with only one earcup. Earcup is also vented to hear ambient noise or game audio as it's mentioned. Game chat quality sounded very well between both input and output. Comfort is decent as it is light weight, but still need up getting a little ear fatigued. It's a solid headset for those on a budget, something really light, and just wanna hear some sound a little closer even if you have a TV/stereo on. I'd say this is also good for those that need to hear some ambient noise for whatever reason such as phone, alarm, other people, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!
