Horrible, even for kids !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't even get a full 24 hour use out of this speaker because it’s so cheap and not loud at all! When I went to plug it up to charge the charger port inserted into the speaker so I was no longer able to charge it from there.. so I only got to use it for about 30 minutes before it died and I could no longer charge it. I also realized that there was no volume setting that could turn the speaker up loud enough to hear unless you’re in a very quiet space. I was not rough with the speaker at all, so idk if I got a bad one or if it’s really that trashy!

Charging connection breaks right away. LOUSY!

Got this as a work anniversary gift from my company. It has been in the box for about a year and I decided to take it out today. Started charging it and all of a sudden it says "low battery" while still plugged in. I picked it up and the charger fell away. The port inside had broken loose on its FIRST charge!! You could hear it rattling inside.
Called customer service. It is outside the 90 day window, so no support. Asked how to open it to see if I could fix it. They refused to provide information. Said if I could find a letter from my company (where I no longer work) they might consider something. Told them I was not there and couldn't get a letter. Asked if they could tell me how to get into it to see if I could fix it since they won't stand behind a faulty product. They said no.
I took it apart myself and found that the charging port was just barely spot welded onto the board. No wonder it broke. HORRIBLE design.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. No customer service. Don't stand behind their products. Cheap, cheap design. What a joke.

Not waterproof

Mine fell in the water and now wont work at all not happy with the speaker if it’s waterproof then it need to hold up to the name ..

Dear customer, we understand the disappointment, however, there are different grades of waterproof. This unit is IPX5 which is technically waterproof, but it is not waterproof against submersion. IPX5 is waterproof against splashes and small jets of water. Let us know if we can help you further and we're sorry for any confusion about the level of waterproofing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this for xmas & i literally just pulled it out the box to connect it which was easy & great. I have a problem with the sound, it has alot of static in the sound & its waterproof zbut i would be afraid to get a drop of water on it , sounding the way it does out the box. I mean my mom tried but i originally want the JBL one that looks similar because i know the aound is great! I cant apologize but i am not satisfied with the product. If you are just looking to have a little sound and care nothing of the quality this is fine but im a muscian & i care A LOT about sound! Sorry guys i want to send this back!
