Great Lens!

Excellent lens I have had this for about 8 months sharp pictures even captures birds in flight! Very light for the zoom range, well thought out lens. Easy to focus or adjust the zoom while framing a moving subject. I use it with a 1.4xII and its still tack sharp even on off hand shots.
Pros: Fast auto-focus, Superior build quality, Super-sharp images

My most recent purchase and I love it. It is undoubtedly the best lens I own. Very clear and crisp. I know it will be the most used in my bag.

I bought this Lense some years back, great performance compared to its 2.8, it seems to be sharper and from my point of view, better than its faster sister! High quality, affordable and performs well with EF 2X II extender. the only complain I have is the internal rubber seal for extender and external rubber grip for Lense do oxidize and have to be cleaned! I must add that cloning the internal part worries me leaving debris behind on the Lense
