Great look. Great function.

The speed oven/microwave combo is a great addition to our newly renovated kitchen. The black stainless finish is a modern look, and one that is easy to clean. The multi-functions (microwave, convection, broiler) are a nice combination in an eye-appeasing package. Truly a quality appliance. If my wife could change one thing, she would prefer a swing out door rather than a pull-down; this would allow for shorter people to reach the back of the unit for cleaning. Having said that, we would definitely purchase this unit again.

Ok, until......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved ours from the beginning. Great to not have to heat a large oven for a pizza. But, at 16 months, it started sparking in the microwave, and then died. Warranty is only 1 year. Also, wish the door open left or right like the oven. If you place this over your oven, the flip down door makes it hard to get inside without a stool, especially if it is hot.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken door spring again

We custom built our home a few years back and decided to have Bosch appliances. I wanted a double oven, but the Mrs. wanted a microwave that doesn't sit on the counter top. The speed oven door broke on us in about 2 years. The company that sold appliances to us have us an extra year warranty. By the time we remember and reach out to them it was over their coverage period. We had to buy a new door to replace the spring; I'm told there is no way to just replace the springs.
Our replacement broke about 1 year later. The door is not cheap! We are just going to use our speed oven to it dies. No point replacing it when it will just break again.
So disappointed in Bosch design and engineering. Save your money...don't buy the speed oven.
