Poor Performance

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Worked not bad for a year then started having arcing issues. Found that it seemed to be the metal plate being the issue and the protective paint wearing down under where the ceramic holder is. Replaced the plate and was good for 6 months but recently started again. Also will at times stop turning. I suggest not buying this product. Not worth the cost. Would really appreciate if someone from Bosch reached out and explained what's going on.

Worked a few times, then acted possessed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used the speed oven a few times before the display would go crazy or not respond at all. It would beep randomly and occasionally just turn on by itself. Not a great start for what we hoped would be a versatile appliance. Throwing the breaker switch sometimes helped, but dont want to do that constantly. Service is scheduled.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Microwave phobic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually don't use a microwave much but in designing our new kitchen, we didn't want one on the counter and selected this one to go with our new bosch side opening oven. Scanning the booklet showed me a whole new way to cook with a microwave and know I'll be using it all the time.

Great Way to Have Two Ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just used this a few times. I made salmon with the Cov/Broil feature and it came out crispy and moist inside. I have used the microwave feature a bunch. The item was backordered a few times, Jan order to May Delivery. We had to modify cabinetry for the height of the oven. We had to have the electrical outlet changed out to a different kind with the side prong. (photo below.)
So far so good, the clock numbers are smaller so cant see them from a distance. The beep notification is not very loud, but is okay if you stay in the kitchen.
I like that it gives me a small convention oven, nice when you dont need to heat up the full size oven to cook for 2. I will add to review after I have used it longer

Just about perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device seems really devisive, but it's been a joy to have in the kitchen. The speed oven combines the best of convection cooking with a microwave. While the machine might benefit from a more modern touch display, the current menu system works just fine. What's really great is the included cook plates and that the system will instruct you which is better for use. My only nag is that all of my other Bosch appliances allow for a 24 hour clock, save for this one. Odd, right?
