Not worth the money

This dishwasher is cheaply made. In less than a year, the plastic soap door broke, and before that our dishes were always left with residue and we would have to re-wash dishes, even after rinsing before putting them in the dishwasher! We absolutely hate this dishwasher and curse every time we use it, but got stuck with it buying through a local appliance store that wouldn’t let us return it unless we paid a 20% restocking fee. Hand washing gets dishes cleaner than this machine. Don’t waste your money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bottom rack awkward

The dishwasher is quiet and seems to be cleaning well. The bottom rack is very awkward and it does not hold plates.

Love My GE Dishwasher

This GE Dishwasher is easy to use. It is so, very quiet that you do not know it is running. It is easy to load and I love that the Jet Dry dispenser is filled once a month with everyday use. Using the Finish pods to put in the soap dispenser makes it very easy to load the dishwasher and get it ready to wash. Great idea on the utensil basket. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

My old basic 20 year whirlpool cleaned better , never left spots and dried better. Why is that? Also I don't like the loading set up. The small times to hold dished restrict where I choose to place plates and pots. The utensil basket that Is NOT embedded in the door so it takes up valuable space. I purchased it as it fit under the restricted height I had under the counter top. I can say it is very quiet.

The cycle is rather long, but it seems to clean the dishes really well.
