Poor substitute for our Kitchen-Aid dishwasher

Little guidance in the owners manual and the controls are not intuitive. There was/is no heating/drying capability. The door feels flimsy and the dish racks are not very supportive of larger items like dinner plates. If known this was to be the similar replacement as determined by the warranty folks, I'd decline the substitution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We value this feedback regarding your new dishwasher. This unit offers what we call a condensate dry system. With this design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process.
Your comments regarding the layout of the unit is extremely important and will be considered by our product design team for review.
Disappointed that it does not have a heat feature to dry the dishes - wish that had been explained or told to us.

We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with the dishwasher. We're constantly working to improve our products and will share your feedback with our product team.
It cleans dishes although doesn't have a dry function. The biggest complaint is the bottom rack is not optimized for efficiently holding my plates and bowls. Whatever I saved in an energy efficiency I lose in having to run it more often with fewer dishes.

We are happy to hear your dishwasher is cleaning your dishes thoroughly. This model is one that utilizes condensate dry. With this drying system design, condensation will form on cooler surfaces in a warm humid environment. At the end of a cycle, while the dish load is still hot, the stainless steel tub walls are already cooling down and pulling condensation to form on the tub walls instead of the dishes. This provides natural air drying of the dish load. The use of a rinse agent ensures spot and film protection for dishes and assists the drying process.
We will be sure to pass your comments regarding the design of the bottom rack to our product team to review. Thank you for trusting our brand for your home!
