DOES NOT WORK WITH BLACK STAINLESS PGS960BEL1TS

I have the 30" Profile gas range in black stainless (PGS960BEL1TS) and ordered this as it's listed as an accessory. It is not compatible. The color is an exact match, but 3 of the strips have a notch cut out on the side against the oven which makes it pointless.
If you zoom in to the pic you can just barely make it out. Interestingly if you go to the plain stainless steel version of this filler those notches are not present.
No idea what range those notches are meant to accommodate but they won't work for the PGS960BEL1TS.
Also, in general.. two of the strips are about 21" long. Can't figure out what one would use those for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Why do I need to buy all 5 pieces. 2 of the pieces are used for an appliance which slides in against a wall. The other 3 pieces are used for installing the range in an island. This should be 2 separate sets. So the customer can get just the parts they need, without throwing away half of the set which was not needed.

This adheres to the countertop to stop food from falling between the stove and cabinets. It was easy to install, and came with a variety of sizes. Simple solution, clean look.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are very sorry to hear your trim kit has stained. This is certainly not something we would expect to hear and will be happy to help. For the best cleaning, we recommend wiping with mild detergent and warm water if an spills occur, before it dries. For tougher messes, we suggest Ceramabryte appliance cleaner. Stay safe and keep in touch!

I have a JGSS86SPSS with a 1.5 inch gap between my stove and my wall - how is this 5/8" going to fill that gap? Just hang in the air? maybe get 2 and they can hang side by side. Sorry this product is simply no good for a filler - at least for me.

This kit is not intended to fill large gaps between walls, but rather to cover small areas to provide a seamless look for cooktops and slide-in ranges and the countertop. Slide in ranges such as yours are capable of being installed flush to the wall so we do not offer filler kits for this area. Thanks so much. - John@GEA

Why is there a ~12 inch long notch on the edge of both the left and right trim pieces? The range does not fit into that notch, so it just looks bad and leaves a large gap beside the range. The whole point of the trim piece is to fill in the space at the edge of the range. Shame on you GE. This trim is listed as being a fit for this range, but it is not.
If a customer is made of money, they could buy two of these kits, and use the single rear trim piece from each kit for the left and right sides of the range. The rear trim piece does not have the notch.

Difficult to cut and doesn't look good installed

The instructions say "no tools required" but this is not true unless your counter happens to be the exact size. These are solid metal pieces and I needed to take it to a tool and die shop to have it cut to fit. It was very inconvenient to install and required measuring at home and cutting off site. It also doesn't look good once you install it.
