I bought this TV sight unseen, just went by the reviews. When I first set it up I was watching shows from my cable provider and I thought Ok, it's a nice TV and the audio quality could be better. The next day I started watching the UHD movies from the smartcast side and WOW! I cant believe the picture quality, and, the audio and stereo is fantastic also. The 55" is just the right size for my family room.
One of the reasons I love this TV is because it’s so easy to watch streaming channels such as Netflix, Amazon & Hulu. All you need to do is press a button on the remote & it goes directly to the app. The picture & sound quality are excellent for the cost. This is the 4th Vizio TV I’ve purchased through the years & I’ve never been disappointed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I brought this tv a week before black Friday at Costco ...no issues so far and the picture quality is amazing. My only two concerns is that u cannot add additional apps to the tv (it comes with a bunch) but none that I really use other than Netflix and YouTube so u always have to cast other app content by using your phone or a compatible device and the apps has to be compatible with Chromecast or it doesn't work ...so I recommended getting a fire stick or Roku or apply tv if you're looking to enhance your experience with having more feature and apps another thing that bugs me is that this model doesn't have reduce motion blur and reduce judder setting option which is a feature I use ALOT when watching movies on my older vizio tv some ppl don't like the soap opera effect but I do so it's kind of a bummer not to be able to watch movies how I want too ..I already contacted vizio so hopefully it's a setting that can be added to this model on there next firmware update but it's still an overall great tv for the price with a lot of specs and features built in
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor regular picture quality, internet issues

I bought this TV about three weeks ago and I am hugely disappointed. I bought it specifically for the HDR feature and it does not work properly, I also brought it for the 120 refresh rate and when looking in the system information it’s states only 60. On top of that, the TV will not stay connected to the Internet regardless of connection type wireless or wired. The main troubleshooting that helps it is power cycling the TV but who wants to unplug TV every couple of days for the Internet only work for a few hours to have to do it again. This is my fourth Vizio TV and six product all together this is the first time I’ve ever had a problem like this, but it concerns me moving forward purchasing products from VIZIO. The 4K is really good, but not as good as other lower class and lower cost Vizio TVs look. Maybe my expectations exceeded the products ability, but I specifically purchased an M class TV to have a better picture and my Vizio 3-D TV that is almost 5 years old has a much better overall picture. Maybe it is just a faulty TV but this was a huge letdown

Hello Aaron D, This television does have the ability to display Dolby Vision and HDR10 content and has an effective refresh rate of 120 Hz. Please contact our customer support for assistance with your television losing connection.
I received the tv about a week ago now. Purchased on November 23, received December 7. The delivery employees were great, thourough and earlier than scheduled. Nice fellas too. Needless to say the shipping was slow from purchase to home arrival, but then again, it was my first time to have a tv delivered. Never again, but I had no choice on this one. Now that the delivery experience is done, let me explain how and why I purchased this tv.
I had purchased a M60-C3 back in October of 2015. Over the course of three years the led backlights began to fail to the point where the tv was a piece of nuisanceand disgrace. I contacted vizio support and they were great and made me an offer for all my troubles. Took them up on it. And voila, I purchased this model, M65-F0.
In comparing both models, let's get the obvious out of the way, the 5 inches is unnoticeable. The remote is simple to use and I love how the buttons are softer. I do miss the qwerty keyboard on the back from the M60 but guess what, that remote works just fine on this model too. Great.
Now to the UI, the software looks so much better. It's more refreshing and easier to use. I was curious about the Pluto service. It's a nice feature but honestly I still love my DirecTV Now. Pluto is about the same as Xumo but maybe a little better. Depends who you ask of course. The other apps included are popular ones as usual. I was surprised to see NBC and CBS app in the lineup. Yes the smart cast is also great and it works so much faster on this model too. But I would love to have the DirecTV Now and HBO Go app on the tv soon. Heck I'll dare to say Sling as well.
This model has four hdmi inputs. The first is the arc. I plugged in the vizio soundbar I had on the previous model. Works great too. Then I plugged my retro console to that soundbar as hdmi 1. Then I plugged in my xbox one x, xbox 360, and apple tv. The CEC feature picked up the apple TV and it was the only one I did not need to name. With that CEC feature I also can control the apple tv with the vizio remote. Ah, it's so good no longer swiping that apple remote.
I have the tv on the vivid picture mode. I did have to lower the backlighting to 50 percent as it is super bright. I did find some settings online to calibrate but I did not like the way they turned out. Plus I really want to push the led backlighting to its limit. One thing I do notice when you hit the vizio app button on the remote, the screen jumps to that mode and in the interim will show a spinning wheel. As the wheel spins, you can see the led lights turn on and off. I think they should have either placed the LEDs from the center outward or made that wheel bigger. It's just a minor knit picking on my part.
I downloaded the smart cast app and it's okay. I can control the tv from there. This is something my m60 could not do.
It's very early for a review so I will be sure to update at 6 months. I figured I'd get a jump on it though.
I bought this during black Friday and got an amazing deal. So impressed with the 4K picture; this is a massive upgrade on my previous TV. The tiny bezel really makes the TV feel bigger than it actually is. Love everything about this TV except switching input! Should be a way to go directly to the input of choice rather than having to scroll through. Annoying but no deal breaker by any means. I'm thrilled with my purchase overall.
I would recommend this to a friend!
