Bought this a couple months ago and we are happy basically but there are 2 things that could be improved. First, there is a plastic like taste when first used. We took care of that by running a vinegar/water solution through the coffee maker couple of times and a water rinse. The second is condensate water running down the backside of the coffee maker when lifting the top lid. The drip catch on the back is too small to catch all that water. Cuisinart needs to improve these 2 items to have near perfect coffee maker.

We bought our new coffee pot approximately six months ago. We love the taste of the coffee. My husband doesn’t usually drink coffee but since we got our Cuisinart he drinks coffee. He says the coffee isn’t bitter tasting like from other coffee pots.

This is not my first Cuisinart coffee maker so you can call me a satisfied customer. I like good coffee. I purchase the freshest beans, use the purest water, grind the beans just prior to use and with a Cuisinart product get the best result. The filters help.
