Good coffee flavor, nice and hot. The finale of the brew cycle is loud and long with lots of popping noises and gurgling. Have to move the maker out from under the cabinet because a lot of steam and moisture collects under the cabinet and ends up dripping off the edges. I move it under the oven hood and that works the best. Hence, I’m moving it back and forth every time I brew. Still would recommend.

Had to replace a Krups drip coffeemaker that wore out. So far, I have had no issues with this new Cuisinart. I actually think the coffee tastes better than it did from our old Krups. I like the fact that it has a charcoal filter for the water as well. The only item I might mention is that the way the design of the top of the carafe, and the way the lid fits on, is a little unhandy. There is a lip of plastic around the top of the pot where the lid snaps on. This keeps water from draining out of the pot all the way when you dump it and rinse it out. You have to turn it upside down and tip it back and forth to get all the water drained or wipe it out. Probably not a big deal but annoying. Otherwise, I haven't had it much more than a month, but so far so good.

I always purchase the Cuisinart 14 cup as it is a quality product. Have had 6-7 total so far.
Brews quickly but after 3 years, the brewing gets slower so know its time to replace. Love the auto programmer; coffee tastes great. We use paper filters vs the permanent.
Only downside to this product are
1. the bottom where coffee pot sits does scorch and becomes difficult to clean & coating starts to come off even wiping gently
2. sometimes the pot leaks when pouring.

Very easy to overflow when brewing in programmed mode. Makes a big mess. 3 times in the first month I have used it.
After filling the coffee grounds you need to be sure to fit the plastic cone in the notch and PUSH DOWN with the carafe in place to be absolutely sure the spring loaded valve is opened.
Very easy to do this wrong. Other coffee makers I have owned are no where near as difficult as this one.

Come on. It's a coffee maker. No frills but is reliable, solid, and works perfectly every time. It says "Cuisinart" on the front so my neighbors know I'm very stylish.
