Great coffee maker. Very simple and easy to use. I’ve had many of these coffee makers and they last for years! One small drawback is it is cumbersome to fill if you are left handed. This is due to the lid orientation and the fill port. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning, as I am left handed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coffee maker is a replacement for the exact same machine that I had but broke the carafe. It was an older machine I’d had for 10 years so I just replaced it. However, the new carafe gets stained quickly and is hard to clean.

Worst carafe/basket design ever

I've had a few drip coffemakers in my time and this is by far the worst engineered carafe and basket design ever. It is far from dripless and removing the carafe while the machine is still brewing is a recipe for disaster. IT ALWAYS DRIPS ON THE HOT PLATE. Trying to put the carafe back is equally frustrating because it always gets hung up on the "valve" at the bottom of the basket. And, when pouring from the carafe, there is no way to not have coffee spill on the counter no matter how hard you try. Terrible design. Terrible appliance. If I could give zero stars, I would

I bought a coffee center just over a year ago and the single brew function is totally inefficient and broken. I do not recommend this product.

We have had about 6 Cuisinart Coffee Makers over the years (all the same model). So far this latest unit has been very disappointing. The glass carafe fits so snugly with the filter unit that it is scratching the heat plate. We are also noticing that the filter unit is pushing up the lid on the top of the unit. Lastly, we make a full 14 cup pot daily and the grounds are ending up in the pot because the filter unit is overflowing and pushing the grounds up to the top of the filter unit. I am not sure why this one has been so poor.

I've had cuisinart coffee makers for years. WhenIt was time to replace, I decided on the 14 cup programmable. The brew strength feature is one of my favorites, as I don't always want or need a full pot. It's easy to use and program, and brews a full pot quickly. My only minor complaint is that the lid to the pot is a bit tight and can be tough to get off to clean and fill the carafe.

It’s a good coffee machine however it seems cuisinart made some changes to this specific machine. I had bought the same one 5 years ago but this one has 2 major flaws. The basket for filter no longer clicks into place and the heat plate where coffee pots sits on used to be a very smooth surface. Now it’s a rough surface and every time you pull coffee pots out or place it back on heat plate you can hear it literally scratching and then see the scratches on the heat plate. Wish the would have left things alone as the older one was much much better.
