New Cuisinart coffee maker not as good as our old

We have two Cuisinart coffee makers in our home. They have worked perfectly, so when our third one at our other home started to fail, we bought another Cuisinart coffee maker. The new one doesn't make the coffee hot enough and the end of brewing alert does not work. We only had it for a week, so I called Cuisinart and they are supposed to send us a new one. We haven't gotten it yet, so I don't know if it will work better or not. I may have to return it for a different brand if not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are very happy with this device. The timer function with the extended time to keep the coffee hot is very handy. It is easy to operate and makes the coffee nice and hot. It has just the right amount of features to give it good value for the price without all the bells and whistles that I don’t need.

I bought this particular Cuisinart coffeemaker because it’s not complicated. It brews a great pot of coffee. It doesn’t have a lot of features that I don’t need. Also, it looks good in my kitchen! I hope it lasts a long time.

I bought this product about a month ago. I looks sharp, has all the necessary settings, and makes coffee. But compared to previous models I have had over the last 25 years I find the fit and finish inferior. This is especially true of the carafe. The plastic seal on the opening does captures liquid. When the carafe is washed that liquid continues to drain back into and to the outside of the carafe. It makes drying the carafe unnecessarily tedious and often leaves coffee stains on the inside of the carafe. I seriously doubt I will buy another.
