My kids bought this for me. It is easy to clean, has a charcoal filter, and brews great coffee. The water is clean, due to the filter, with no aftertaste. Very clear directions on how to use it.

This coffeemaker makes up to 14 cups which is the largest capacity I could find. The design makes it easy to fill. You have to make sure the filter basket is locked in though, otherwise the top will lift up while brewing, and not all the water will come through. It’s sleek and attractive. What would make it 5 stars is if it came with a stainless steel carafe!

I purchased it less than a month ago and spring from coffee filter holder popped off. Spring flew off, little black plastic area for coffee to drip threw fell out and little rubber square that holds it it in place flew off somewhere else. Cheaply made. Disappointed in your workmanship for an expensive coffee maker .

We go through 1-2 coffee makers a year, usually the cheaper ones. For once I wanted to get something better. It was this or a Bunn. We got this one and it's been excellent. The only thing you have to watch out for is if someone not familiar with it throws out the used grinds. My daughter threw out the gold filter. Had to order a new one. :(
