We had the older model Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker for 10 years until it died. We decided to upgrade to this newer Model14 cup coffee maker. We love the features it has like the blue clock screen, the hotter coffee, the shower head water spray system, and the larger carafe. It makes great tasting coffee.

This my second purchase of this 14 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker. My first purchase was just over 10 years ago. It put out thousands of cups of great coffee. So, I decided to buy the same model again. It has performed as flawlessly as the original so far and I can highly recommend this model for great, daily coffee made as you like.

I feel the quality has dropped -- but this is the 3rd purchase of the same unit and it is a good unit for the price and design (I purchased the GRAY). I also bought the gray bean grinder but they put a BLACK cord on it -- the coffee maker has a white cord and they sit side by side? Yes I am crazy but small items make a design good or great!

I was very excited about this product until I found out that there is design deficiency where the water comes from the reservoir to the coffee basket. The first unit I purchased worked for a couple of days and then it started to leak really bad that resulted in water on the sink that flowed on to the kitchen floor. I did get a replacement coffee maker and that one too started leaking after a couple of times using it. The problem is where the intake tube goes to the overhead drip assembly. Before the water gets to the overhead drip, it starts leaking at the hinged tube part.

It is perfect, looks just like the picture. We had a Cuisinart coffee maker for years and were so happy with it. When we had to replace it, we knew we had to get another. Sometimes with the passage of years, the quality of the product goes down. Not so with Cuisinart! We actually like the looks and function of the new one even more. I would highly recommend.
