All in all a good coffeemaker. waiting to see if heating plate rusts out as my last coffeemaker did so quickly. So far so good! What I don't like is the way the lid has to come off the carafe. Almost dropped the carafe a few times trying to snap off the lid. Also the pour place for water from the carafe is awkward to use - hard to see and barely enough of an opening

The Cuisinart 14 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker is well-designed with an illuminated function display and a water-level indicator on the side panel indicating the number of cups.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this coffee maker for a while now. The first unit was replaced around 2 years after purchase according to the Cuisinart warranty. The replacement process was fast and easy! I love this coffee maker because of the pot size (14 cups), programmability, and the ability to adjust temperature and the length of “on” time to meet my needs. I also like that the settings are retained after brief power outages including the need to unplug! My only dislike is that the brew complete signal is rather faint and almost seems to be louder when turning off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm on my 4th or 5th Cuisinart coffeepot. It is my favorite pot BUT they have all only lasted 1 to 1 1/2 years, then start leaking through the bottom of the water reservoir. Even though it's my favorite, I'm not sure if I'll continue to purchase this coffeepot. 😥
