We purchased this coffee maker to replace our 8 year old coffee maker. It has met our expectations of brewing a good pot of coffee each time. It maintains the hot for up to 3 hours programmable which is very nice. We would recommend this pot for your next brew. Good luck.

Years ago I discovered that the CUISINART decanter is the only one which does not drip. When I could not unclog the hose to clean my old 12-cup and to make coffee, I purchased this 14 cup coffeemaker.
And of course, being a CUISINART I again have rave reviews about it. I prefer paper filters instead of the gold filter and I do not use the charcoal. It seems to make an even better brew than my old coffeemaker. - I always grind my own beans.

This is by far the best coffee maker I have ever purchased. Read some reviews before buying and have to say it is even better than I hoped it would be. User friendly, nice looking & best of all makes really hot coffee! I have had a percolator for years because most coffee makers I have had just do not make coffee that hot. The ability to select for carafe temp on this unit is wonderful & the hot makes it really hot. There are other features of this coffee maker that I really appreciate such as the ability to brew 1-4 C, water filter, the self cleaning of lime build up & the straightforward easy to use functions for programming.
