I am on my 3rd Cuisinart 14 cup coffeemaker, not because I have one in each of my vacation homes either. I love the capacity of this pot and the speed at which it delivers my morning cup. However, the way the condensation runs out the back of the maker every time I open the lid to refill the chamber is getting a little better each time I buy a new one. A small molding modification in the plastic that would force the condensation down into the chamber would solve this. Also, the pot has shorted out twice on me. Yes, smoke (no fire) to the point that I had to toss it out in a snow bank last winter. This happens after the brew cycle is complete and the maker is just heating.

This is my third Cuisinart coffee maker and it is the best one yet. It brews hotter which makes my coffee taste better.

Blue light disaster

Makes good coffee however the blue light is a disaster. Blue lights are horrible for dark rooms, blinding as many know any color is better than blue, i will return this for that reason. We've had a cuisinart coffee maker for years, it had a small red and green light which was perfect. This thing light up the room like a billboard blinding anyone walking into a dark room.

I love this coffeemaker! I ditched the Keurig and replaced it with this one. The coffee is stays hot, tastes great and the machine does not take a lot of counter space. I’ve had several drip coffee makers in the past, this is my favorite!

I bought this a month ago,and am glad I did.We always seemed to run out of coffee, just when we would like to sit down and relax, at the end of the day with one last cup, for the evening. It also comes in handy to have a 14 cupper, for the unexpected company, or occaisional get together we've experienced.

i find pouring the water into the tank a little awkward. After the coffee perks, the coffeemaker makes popping sounds and doesn't stop until it's turned off.

Cheaply made junk
on November 27, 2025

In one year we went through 3 of these pieces of junk. First one lasted only 3 weeks before some relay inside quit and it started clicking and flashing on-and-off every few seconds, exchanged it for another at the store. The next one lasted almost six months before a similar failure, exchanged it again for a 3rd. This one just quit after 4 months. These were all used in a clean dry kitchen with modern wiring, never submerged or treated in anyway that should lead to failure. In additional to being a poorly made waste of money the blue display is stupidly bright, it illuminates the whole kitchen at night which is fine if you like that sort of thing but I didn't.

Its ok so far...The cord should be about 4 inches longer. I have to pull it out away cupboards and off to the side so i can open the top. Because if this i also can't pour all the water out of the carafe. If i had a space where there was nothing above it..i wouldnt have that problem..But like most people i put this on my counter top. So that isnt an option. I also would have made the lid on the carafe on a hinge..instead of taking on and off every time to add water , etc.. Still trying to find the right coffee to water ration for the best cup that i like for taste.. Love the looks of it, programming is pretty easy.
