This is my second coffee marker. The only suggestion is the cover to the pot leaks as you pour it.

I have been very happy with my new 14 cup programmable coffeemaker. I saw some negative reviews but so far have not experienced any of them. No problem with heating plate, opening size fine for filling water reservoir, and not exceptionally noisy. Would highly recommend this coffeemaker.

I had a lower cost Mr Coffee that finally died, and replaced it with the Cuisinart. We like the stability and the solidity of the Cuisinart, and it seems to make tastier coffee.
The only thing I would change is the basket. I prefer a bowl shaped coffee filter, rather than the V shaped one here. But this is a very minor consideration.
