I purchased 14 cup coffee maker because of the brand and for the number of cups it said it would make. I have used a Bunn coffee maker for years without having it run over. This one the coffee grounds run over every time. Making a mess to clean up! Have tried gold filter, paper #4 filters, making less cups, adjusting amount of coffee used nothing solves the problem! It needs a larger filter then the #4 size to stop the run over but haven't found any. If you don't mind taking the machine apart to clean holding tank and filter each time you use it the coffee is hot and tastes good. very disappointed!

My 12-cup Cuisinart stopped working after a couple of years of making 6 cups per day and occasionally 10-12 when I had guests. So I decided to get the 14 cup Coffeemaker because I noticed when I wanted 12 cups the 12-cup Coffeemaker would allow the coffee in the hopper to overflow. However, I noticed that the hopper in the 14-cup Coffeemaker is really no bigger than the 12-cup's hopper.
You can't call it a 14-cup Coffeemaker if you can't make 14 cups! If you put in the correct amount of coffee using the scoop provided by Cuisinart the coffee overflows in the hopper and you get grounds in your coffee. If I want to make 14 cups when family or friends are visiting, which is often, then I have to make two pots. But wait a minute...I don't have two pots!
After years of buying Cuisinart products, I think you may have lost a loyal customer.

Don’t count on making 14 cups. If you put more than 12 in it, the reservoir spill over leaks. We replaced a previous 14 cup model that made 14 cups. Highly disappointed. We’ve had it a month and it’s about to be replaced.

I ordered the coffee maker because my sister & brother- in- law had it. It is fine. My disappointment is that it is hard to program it to start the coffee. I have read the instructions & have watched youtube videos. I was able to program it 1 time but since the electricity blinked it off I have been unable to program it again. This has been frustrating. My Black & Decker was much easier to program.

The machine is great!!! I love it ! But the reason why I didn’t put 5 stars is because the button that features 1-4 cups doesn’t really do anything! I thought when you click on that button the machine only brews 4 cups and then stops brewing, but even when I push that button the machine doesn’t stop brewing all the water in the tank even if it was filled to ten cups ! The machine keeps brewing all the water till it’s finished. So I don’t understand why that button is for ? Apart from that all is good !

I've had the 14 cup programmable coffeemaker from Cuisinart for more than 3 months and am so pleased with it. It is easy to program, simple to use and most importantly, makes coffee just like we like it.
I watched the video before buying and noticed the woman doing the demonstration used a pitcher (not the carafe) to pour the water in, so I have a dedicated pitcher with a line on it to indicate a full pot, and it works very well. No spills.
I love that we can turn the beeper off for when the coffee is finished - my cat hated it and it was simple to turn it off. The end product is great, it's easy to clean and I would recommend this product.

This Coffeemaker makes a really great cup of coffee. I like the option to choose Bold as well as it's quick perk time and optional beep that lets you know it's ready. Plus I like the features where the drip pauses if you want to pour a cup before the pot is fully brewed as well as the option to make less than a full pot.
It's also so easy to use right out of the box - the programming buttons are intuitive and simple and you don't even need to use the directions, which I really liked. It's a snap to clean and the white and chrome is really sharp looking. I am so pleased with this coffee maker and would highly recommend it.
