This is my 2nd Cuisinart 14 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker. The first one developed a leak after 5 years of daily use. I liked it enough to replace it with an identical unit. It has a nice wide reservoir which makes filling it really easy. I like the option to brew as many as 14 cups at a time as well as the brew strength option. It makes a great cup of coffee.

It's not quite what we thought it would be. Ultimately, all the extras are nice, but the coffee just doesn't taste good, so, we don't know how to rate this item. Perhaps we got used to our old Mr. Coffee and thought a more expensive unit would be better. Not very satisfied with this item. It's like the coffee is too strong or bitter tasting than the old coffee maker. We boxed this one up and returned to the old Mr. Cofffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
