I received my new Cuisinart Coffee Maker in a timely manner, did the prep as instructed, filled it with water & plugged it in. When I came back into the kitchen, all the water had drained out of the tank, none went into the carafe. My long history with Cuisinart Coffee Maker's only seem to last less than a year. The burner usually starts getting tarnished and the Coffee brewing keeps getting longer and clogging up, even after very carefully measuring and doing my clean outs. I switched to a KitchenAid and hopefully my dollar goes further & can have an enjoyable cup of coffee now. Cuisinart it's time to step up!

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re glad to hear your return process was hassle‑free. We’re sorry to hear about the water flow issue and long‑term performance concerns; issues like this can sometimes be related to reservoir seating, mineral buildup, or internal flow restrictions despite proper cleaning. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us identify opportunities for improvements in future models.

Was questioning the thought of purchasing an older type coffee provider unit when it seems everyone else was into single serving dispensers. Did some thinking on whether the quality of the brew would be comparable, would the temperature be adequate, would it taste as good. Well, to say this unit is not the same in any way to the units we’ve previously owned is an accurate description. Cuisinart has upgraded and beat out other manufacturers in all capacities. Coffee is hot, it has great flavour, it brews quickly and it beats out the single serve competitors on cost per cup every time. We drink a few cups each morning and the economics of using this unit are hands down a home run. Highly recommended this unit.

I like this coffee maker because it produces good coffee, is easy to use and easy to maintain. We have owned several models of Cuisinart coffee makers including one with a thermal carafe that was hard to maintain and a bit complicated to use. We finally decided that a glass carafe that sits on a heated pad is preferable (we don’t brew a full pot and drink coffee all day - we have 1-2 cup in the morning), and the initial brewed temperature is hotter resulting in better results. The conical filter also means using less coffee. It has fewer parts, so less to go wrong. And the configuration of the water head - like a shower, means a faster, more even brewing process.

Disappointing coffee maker. It makes odd noises when brewing and often smells like it’s burning. The carafe leaks when you pour the coffee. Do not recommend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Coffeemaker Model DCC‑3200, and we’re sorry to hear about the concerns you encountered. I cannot brew a good cup of coffee. I’ve tried several brands of coffee, followed the directions correctly and still the coffee tastes like wet cardboard.

We’re sorry to hear you’re not enjoying your coffee and understand how disappointing that experience can be. A weak taste can sometimes occur if the machine needs a thorough cleaning or descaling, if the water is not fresh, or if the grind size or coffee‑to‑water ratio needs adjustment. We recommend running a cleaning cycle, using filtered water, and slightly increasing the amount of coffee to enhance flavor. Thank you for sharing your feedback—it helps us improve future models.

Disappointing Carafe Quality Leaks from Metal Band
on April 29, 2026

I purchased this coffee maker in June 2024, and unfortunately, the carafe started leaking within just a few months. The strange part is that it isn't leaking from the spout or the lid seal; water is seeping out from around the metal band. It seems like there might be a small crack underneath it, possibly from the band being tightened too much during manufacturing. I am really sad to see it fail so quickly, especially since my previous Cuisinart coffee maker lasted over 15 years.

We’re sorry to hear about the leaking carafe on your 14 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker and understand how disappointing this is. We recommend checking that the lid is fully seated, ensuring the metal band hasn’t loosened over time, avoiding overfilling past the max line, and hand‑washing only while avoiding sudden temperature changes, as these can contribute to cracks or leaks. Our Consumer Assistance Center can review replacement options and next steps—please contact 1‑800‑726‑0190 and reference Ticket #8900635476. Thank you for sharing your experience, as your feedback helps us improve quality and durability in future models.
