Finally a coffee maker that can make a hot cup of coffee. Tried many others B&D and my wife does not like the Kureg type of makers. We could not find a coffee maker that would make a consistent hot cup of coffee.

I love Cuisinart, the coffee maker is wonderful. I would give 5 stars , but for some reason the way the coffee pours from the pot it always spills a little on the counter, I LOVE the customer service provided by Cuisinart also. they are wonderful. this is my third coffeemaker from them.

This coffeemaker isn't made as well as expected for a Cuisinart product. The pot leaks when pouring. and the lid seems loose. The top doesn't close as tightly as it should.

This is a great coffee maker. I was using a percolator and finally got tired of having to clean it out. This makes a better cup of coffee and is much easier to clean. The only challenge is where your coffee grinds get in the area below the plastic removable piece that holds the filter. There's pretty much nothing you can do except use paper towels to dig out the grinds. Keep in mind that the watermark on the canister is not the same as the water mark on the side of the coffee maker. So I use the ladder and figuring out how many measures to use.

I think that the 12cup predecessor to this model made better coffee. Also, the blue lights on the front of the unit are quite bright. I wish that I had purchased the exact Cuisinart coffee maker that this replaced.

It makes great coffee but is poorly designed. Having to take the lid off the carafe to clean or fill is annoying. There’s no hinge. Also, the space where you pour the water into the maker is so small. Finally, you cannot sit the filter holder on the counter due to a bump on the bottom. You have to fill it with coffee in your hand or very carefully inside the maker. I would not repurchase, even though the coffee is great. It had a very wide spray that really soaks the grounds and is very hot. Better than average coffee. Easy to use features.
