It makes excellent coffee. There is only one very small drawback… the graduation scale for adding water is located on the right side of the coffee maker. This makes pouring the water with your right hand difficult. My old Cuisinart had water windows on both sides of the water tank.

We absolutley love this coffeemaker. We have been purchasing this model for many years. It is simple to use and makes a great cup of coffee. Easy to maintain with the clean mode and we can change the filters easily. Cuisinart is always there for questions or issues and I always register it right away so that if there are any issues, you are in their system and they will totally stand behind their product. I recently had an issue with mine after a few years and because it was registered, they recognized me immediately and replaced my coffeemaker for a brand new one.

Nice Coffee Maker But Needs Quality Improvement

I do like the design and function of this coffee maker. That said, the hot plate started to rust after only a few months of use. I expect better from Cuisinart.
