This is my third Cuisinart Coffee Maker. They seem to have a lifespan of a few years and I always replace it with the same since I like it so much.

A little disappointed

I want to like this coffee maker.
It makes a good cup of coffee.
However I am concerned that the hot plate will not last. When I slide the glass carafe onto the hot plate it does not glide smoothly. There is some kind of white powder on it and it is now is on the bottom of the glass pot. It seems to be getting worse. I wonder if the glass carafe is a bit too larger for the hot plate/unit causing a “rubbing” ???
I purchased this coffee maker in September 2025. Cuisinart is a brand I trust, but I have lost confidence in this coffee maker.
It makes a good cup of coffee.

I recently purchased Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker. This is my second 14 cup machine and I’m very pleased with it. My last 6 pots have been Cuisinart pots and I’ve always loved them and have to admit I use them hard. I like being able to make 14 cups when I have company. the pot is used every day and we program it at night so it’s ready at 6:30am.
