After the frustration of buying my 3rd coffeemaker in less than 2 years, I decided to just go big and spring for a Cuisinart model. It is a very stylish machine. We like that we don't have to throw paper filters away every day and can just toss the used grounds into our composter. The clock and timer are easy to use and I like that we can turn the chime off when people are sleeping. The machine is easy to clean and looks nice on the counter. Oh, and it makes GREAT COFFEE!

We are large coffee drinkers and like the extra liquid in the carafe. Our cups are actually mugs that hold a cup and a half of liquid. The extra time up to four hours until auto shutoff and the bold taste button were nice added features. The only disadvantage is the extra condensation build-up accumulating after brewing causes the unit to pop but doesn’t hamper the operating of the unit.
