Up to 14 cups, evenly spread hot water drip for the best flavor, multi level heat pad with self shut off timer, easy to use functionality buttons, it's simple to program the self brew timer making mornings a breeze... this machine is perfect. We always have coffee brewing between all the drinkers in our house so this was definitely worth the cost. I HIGHLY recommend this Coffee Maker!

My only criticism is that, as with similar makes, the warming plate, left on, changes the taste of fresh brewed coffee. The company that comes out with a see through thermal carafe will will make a fortune.

I set my Cuisinart to have a pot of piping hot delicious coffee ready for me first thing in the morning. The extra large capacity makes enough for my whole family of coffee drinkers. The carafe pours neatly with the lid on, and I sometimes use the Bold and small pot settings. The Black Stainless looks beautiful in the kitchen. It works so well, I don't have to think about it. Highly recommended.

Got a new coffee pot for our RV back in 2006, and it recently gave up the ghost - taking nearly 40 minutes to brew a pot. We went looking for a new, high quality coffee pot and spotted 3 potential candidates (very recognizable quality name brands), including the 14-cup Cuisinart model.
This model has a very versatile set of features allowing the user to not only program brewing start, but also set brew strength, carafe temperature, an optional alarm when brewing is complete, and variable brewing capacity from 1-14 cups.
Besides having a very high capacity (great when we're on the road and need to fill 2 travel cups plus a thermos to get through the day!) we selected the Cuisinart model because we have a Cuisinart at our home, and we've had it for nearly 20 years, and it is still going strong!
A bit more expensive than many models of lesser quality, but it is definitely worth the extra price. I definitely recommend this model for anyone who wants a good cup of drip coffee!
