Cuisinart used to mean quality you could trust. Not my experience recently. The hot plate on this coffee maker was defective. When I put carafe on the hot plate it did not slide in smoothly. After brewing there was a "powdery" residual left on the hot plate. It kept getting worse whenever the glass carafe was replaced and the hot plate looked scratched. After the 3rd try, I believed it would just keep getting more damaged. I returned product. Will not purchase Cuisinart again.

My family absolutely loves the 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker. We especially love the auto program function, which is a huge help in the mornings when we are rushing out the door. Great product overall, everything from functionality to coffee boldness is 10/10.

Love this coffee marker! No worries about the steam ruining my cabinets. The 14 cup capacity is wonderful considering there are 4 of grabbing a Joe before heading off to work. Highly recommend.

We found this coffeemaker very easy to program so hot brewed coffee is ready for us in the morning. Lover the larger carafe and reliability of this product. Hightly recommend.

The 14-cup programmable Cuisinart Coffee Maker is incredible!!! This is probably my third of this particular coffee maker and that has nothing to do with the quality. I use mine daily and the ones I have owned in the past have just finally “aged out”. What do I love about it? I can adjust the temperature (love my coffee very hot), I can set it to stay on for four hours, and the coffee is delicious!!! And, of course, I appreciate setting it to brew right before I awake in the mornings. I have recommended this particular coffee maker to many friends and all have been pleased with their purchase. I can’t recommend it more highly!!!!

I had very high hopes for this coffee maker. I loved the features— 1-4 cups, bold setting etc. Unfortunately, the coffee grounds basket does not drain all the coffee. There is space between the basket valve and carafe so the coffee does not drain into the pot. I have washed the basket and the coffee maker to no avail. If we cock the carafe off of the heating plate it will drain, but then the coffee does not stay hot. I am returning the coffee pot to where I bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
