This makes great hot coffee. The only negative is that you have pour your cup exteemely slow or else the coffee will leak really bad and get coffee all around the counter near the cup.

We have had nothing but issues with our Cuisinart coffee maker. Our first one died after not even two years. We would pour the water in the reservoir and it leaked out the back. Fortunately is was warranted and we got a new one about two months ago. Now the coffee pot stops while brewing then starts up again. I know this one is going to have the same fate as our first one.
