Our old Mr. Coffee carafe broke, and while trying to replace it I came across reviews for this coffeemaker (and coincidentally couldn't find the right carafe) and I was intrigued by the reviews and the features. After three weeks of daily use, I can say that the reviews were correct. The controls are logical and easy to use. The brewing time, while a touch on the slow side especially in the bold setting, is not a fatal flaw, especially if you use the time setting and have it ready to go ahead of time. My favorite feature is the temperature of the coffee, which is hot but not burnt. The Mr. Coffee was warm and cooled off quickly even with the warming burner on, but not the Cuisinart coffeemaker. All in all a great drip coffeemaker that is easy to use and makes excellent coffee.

Very pleased overall. A bit difficult to fill water reservoir on our small counter. Had to learn not to lift top cover for several minutes after shutting off maker. Overall it far exceeds our previous one (Kitchen-aide) that had been highly recommended by local kitchen store.

Pros: Easy to use, keeps the pot of coffee really hot, and it’s easy to clean. Love the “automatic on and off” functions and the “bold” function. Cons: a paper filter is needed to keep “coffee sediments” out of the pot and it took several tries to find the right amount of coffee to make a pot the way we really like it. Overall we’re very happy.
