This is without doubt the best coffee maker on the market. If your coffee is important to you and you measure out your water and coffee for perfectly consistent coffee, then this is the last coffee maker you will buy. I get the same exact, perfect cup of coffee every time. Ron

I'm just a regular coffee drinker that likes a good, strong, fresh cup in the morning and this machine provides exactly what I want. The only problem I foresee is that the snaps on to the handle, putting stress on the snap tabs. I live in the desert and just know those are going break off some day, requiring the purchase of a new lid. I failed to investigate how the lid operated before purchasing. My mistake.

From day one this coffee maker has made a clunking noise while making coffee. We had the same model before and it started making this clunking sound so we cleaned it and it still made the same noise. We gave up on it a bought a new one. As stated the very first time we used it, it made the same sound as the old one. We do not know what to think. Any ideas? I started this after we bought a new house with marble counter tops. Our old house had tile counter tops. Could this be the problem? My ratings below would be entirely positive and high if it were not for this problem.

I bought the 14 cup programmable coffee maker about a month ago. I LOVE IT! I love the extra cups that it makes for when I have company over and that it chimes when it is done brewing. I am still getting used to that feature. There is nothing not to like about it. I used to keep my old drip maker in the cabinet but this maker looks so nice that I keep it on display on the counter under the cabinets. I love the stainless steel with black compliments. Let’s not forget that it makes a wonderful cup of coffee too, with a button for bold too.

Defective Coffeemaker

Purchased this coffeemaker more than 2 years ago. Was replaced under warranty due to leaking water from bottom of coffeemaker. Six months later the replacement coffeemaker started leaking water from bottom of coffeemaker. Cuisinart replaced that one under warranty also. I am now on my third coffeemaker.
