This was a replacement for my 12 cup Cuisinart that died. The controls on this model are more user friendly, and it brews hotter coffee than the former model which I really like. Also, the 12 cup carafe fits this model so now I have a spare.

This is by far my favorite coffee maker I have ever owned. I love the fact that it has a built-in filter for the water container area along with a high quality filter for the coffee so there's no need for paper filters. The coffee container itself is made of a very high quality glass that cleans up more easily. It seems to be stain resistant where as other glass containers have stained more easily and harder to keep clean. I love the bold flavor setting.

Warranty replacement after last one failed

This was a warranty replacement. The last one started leaking everywhere. Replacement was easy. Called customer service and they gave easy instructions for a complete replacement. Glad they stand behind their warranty. As far as this model, we use this heavily and it works great. Large capacity, makes great coffee.
