It is easy to set up. I like to make it bold, and have the pot stay hot for four hours. It does this very well. This is my 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker over the last 12 years.

My husband & I love this coffeemaker! Whether we are making a small amount or a full pot when the family & grandkids come over, it's a perfect brew every time! We love all of the extra features: 1-4 cup, make it bold, carafe temperature, programmable....everything!

This coffeemaker replaced our Kenmore. So far I am loving it better. Plus: I absolutely love how hot the coffee is. I also love the feature that you can shut off the beep that indicates the coffee is brewed. Certainly nice, when my husband makes his coffee early in the morning while I am still sleeping! The only minus is that the lid of the can is not hinged. I liked that better on my old coffee maker. This one comes off completely, but this also means you'll have to take it off when filling the can or cleaning it. It's a small minus for an otherwise great coffee maker.

This is a great coffee maker, the best I’ve ever owned. Don’t forget to put the lid on the carafe when you fill the coffee maker, or water will spill from the carafe, as you fill; there’s a plastic ring around the top of the carafe to seal the lid, and the lid should be in place to get a good seal.
