We love this coffee maker! Make 12 cups everyday, so didn’t think I needed a 14 cup but love the extra room above coffee so it doesn’t spill when removing carafe from heating pad.

My well used and well loved Cuisinart coffee maker was due for a replacement so an updated version was the logical choice. Updated can mean unnecessary additions that turn a simple process into a more complex one. Thank goodness this is not the case. Altho there are changes - carafe temp, shut-off setting - they are useful and do not complicate the simple process of making an appreciated and enjoyed cup of coffee. Thanks, Cuisinart, for offering a model that proves more is not necessarily better and remaining focused on what's important: brewing a delicious cup of coffee.

Great coffee maker! The coffee is hot and delicious! This coffee maker can be programmed to automatically start at your selected time. Even though it’s a 14 cup carafe, it has a (1-4 cup) option also. Very happy with it!

The coffeemaker works fine when not at the top of the capacity, If I decide I want to make the full 14 cups I get grounds all over the inside of the filter system. I don;t like disassembling it and cleaning it. I also don't like grounds in my coffee cup. I am returning it.
