My previous coffe maker was a Cusinart as well and it served me very well making excellent coffee along the way. My wife and I always seemed to have one or two cups less than we wanted before the coffee was gone. The new 14 cup maker seems to be the perfect amount for us. Additionally new coffee maker has some great improvements over the previous. Seems Cuisinart has done its homework...the carafe easily pours without dribbling on the counter...and the filter holder is deeper and less prone to have ground float over it with large coffee loads. Nice work, this is an exceptional product!

A quality, sturdy product with a dependably good brew. Coffee brews nicely with no overflow of the grounds helped by the cone shaped basket and even distribution of the water during the brew cycle. Coffee stays wonderfully hot without burning, and that’s just using the med heat setting. You can adjust to low or high according to your preference. Digital settings are very easy to use to set brew time, brew strength and even a one button push to brew a 4-cup afternoon pick-me-up. It’s a pleasure to review this product because it does work so well and makes a great pot of coffee. Only two things I would improve on but certainly wouldn’t keep me from purchasing this product again: 1. When you tilt the lid back to add water, condensation under the lid rolls down the back of the unit instead of just dripping down into the water reservoir.
2. The coffee pot itself has a full plastic ring around the top that the lid locks into. Makes for a wonderfully sturdy pot and trustworthy pour, but it does make it a bit more difficult to clean. All of the contents won’t rinse out as easily as an all glass pot because it “catches” on the edge. Overall, worth the price!

I bought this during the Christmas holidays to replace another brand that was approaching 10 years old, but had started to leak all over the counter. So far, I love this coffee maker. I have only made small pots of coffee (4 cups), so I have only used the 1-4 Cups setting. I also use the Bold setting, and this combined with the water filter produce an extremely good cup of coffee each morning--much better than others I have owned. It takes a lot longer to brew than the previous coffee maker, but that may because I use the Bold setting. Regardless, its worth the wait! Also, I like that I once again have a glass carafe because my old one was metal and the black coating had started to peel from the inside. I would recommend this coffeemaker and hope to get several good years of service out of it.

This is a fabulous coffee maker. It keeps the coffee hot, but never tastes burned. 14-cups instead of 12 works very well for my family and it is nice to find a machine that will accommodate. Get this coffee maker, you will not be disappointed.
