We purchased this to replace a 12-cup Cuisinart we had bought many years ago. We wanted a coffee pot that made more than 12 cups and this one is perfect. Easy to use and makes a good cup of coffee. We use the timer during the week so the coffee is ready when we get up. The little extras are nice, choosing how hot you want your coffee and a couple choices in the strength.

I really like my 4th cuisinart. I do have a problem tho' - it seems the paper coffee filter that holds the grounds sometimes overflows. I always use the correct scoops of coffee. I might mention that the plastic filter holder does fit very tight but I always push it down when filling with grounds. It seems to fit okay.

As coffee makers go, this is the one you want. Large capacity with several features not available on other products. Charcoal water filter, alarm silencer, "bold" brewing, and many more. Quality product.

Makes great coffee. But it is impossible to pour all the water out of the carafe into the reservoir. You can’t tilt the carafe enough to empty it since it hit’s the top cover of the coffee maker. This is a design flaw.
