Very easy to program & operate. The default timer for the hot plate to turn off is 2 hours 15 minutes, which is perfect for our home. I like the large capacity & the “Bold” flavor option. Great coffee maker for the price!

I want to like it... but Cuisinart makes it hard

Physical Apprarance: 5 stars. We have the copper one. It looks sexy.
Functionality: Poor. The clock is worthless. It’s a blue LED background (when did someone decide that blue is now the must have color?) with gray numbers. You can’t see the clock worth a darn unless you’re two inches from it. The pot is annoying because the top doesn’t swivel open. You have to detach the plastic top to fill it with water and then reattach it (cumbersome!). Pouring water into the reservoir is like some carnival game. The reservoir lid opens to almost 90 degrees so it stays in the way when you are pouring water. The opening to receive the water is so small it’s hard not to accidentally pour water on to your coffee grinds. So... it’s very frustrating every morning to get the thing going.
Coffee taste... I’m sure it’s great. The marketing talks about great shower dispensing to soak the grinds and yada yada yada.
It’s a brew coffee pot. I’m sure they all kind of make a decent pot of coffee.
Anyway... I wanted to return it because of the poor design of these other features that make it less than pleasant to use each and every morning.
Sorry cuisinart. I want to like it... but you make it hard to do so.

I purchased this about a month ago, I purchased because if the cuisinart name. I have been very unhappy with the other brands I have tried. This is the first coffee pot that pours into your cup with out spilling al over counter. The coffee tastes wonderful and the extra hot water feature is wonderful. I am very happy!

Bought this coffee pot about a month a go and we are loving it! Easy to use maintains coffee temperature well with a couple of temps settings too. This model was a CR best buy for coffee pots!
