I have a Cuisinart Kitchen. I received a Cuisinart 14 cup programmable coffeemaker to replace my previous coffee Cuisinart coffee maker that leaked after being filled and moved back to the under cupboard position. I had previously thrown out another of these, thinking that the #1 ranked coffee maker problem was a fluke. It was not. The new coffee pot also leaks from the bottom when repositioned. The lid will not open wide enough for water to be poured in to the reservoir from the pot which might cause water to flow in to the coffee cone area. In addition, the new owner of Cuisinart, Conair, now does not have the coffee pot lid flip up. It has to be removed which is inconvenient. Of note, many of the parts on the Cuisinart are the same as those on mu Bunn and Mr. Coffee.

This was a replacement for another brand which did not have water gauge on outside and whose carafe had a drippy pouring spout. Both problems solved. However, the lid to water reservoir does not go all the way back and therefore there is always water left in carafe. Solved problem by using spray attachment to fill now. Easy clock setting. Follow instructions of other users and pull pot out from underneath cupboards while going thru “drip” process. Steam can ruin cupboards plus we have led lighting under cupboards also.

This is our third coffee brewer from Cuisinart. We have been very satisfied with all three. The larger capacity of this model is nice to have. It makes a little noise but we think that it gives it character.
