I don’t know of a better coffee maker. It’s one of the few that really brews at the correct hot temperature, and it’s 14 cup capacity exceeds most of its peers. I’m aware that it has a sister devise that is certified by SCAA as brewing perfect coffee, but it brews much less coffee. If this machine had a blooming feature, it would be perfect. My only criticism is longevity. I’m on my 3rd machine. They only seem to last two or three years before beginning to leak.

After having owned Hamilton Beach coffee makers the past 3 years, I thought I’d try Cuisineart brand this time. So far, Hubby and I are both very happy with our choice, no complaints whatsoever. It makes great coffee and so easy to use, just make sure to read the instructions before using this coffee maker.

This is my third Cuisinart...the first one died an early death (2 years after purchase), and was replaced at no charge to me. That second one lived about 10 years, but when it died, I tried a Kitchen aid, which made decent coffee but barely outlasted the one year warranty. So I am going back to the Cuisinart...it just makes the best coffee and am hopeful it will live a long life!!! Features are good, too, of course. Carafe gets a little coffee on its lid from either brewing or pouring, not sure, but just a little extra clean up. Otherwise, this is a great coffeemaker. Highly recommend.
